Kundli

What does Kundli mean?
The kundli (also called janma kundali or horoscope) is drawn from the date, time, and place of birth. It divides the sky into 12 houses (bhavas), places the nine grahas (planets) within them, and marks the rising sign (lagna) on the eastern horizon.
Astrologers read the kundli for temperament, strengths, challenges, and timing. It is also the basis of kundli matching (guna milan) for marriage, where two charts are compared for compatibility across factors like nakshatra and Manglik status.
